The Italian Supreme Court, by order No 12892/23, published on 11 may 2023, confirmed that, pursuant to Article 67(2) of the Agreement on the withdrawal of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland from the European Union, the provisions of Regulation (EU) No 1215/2012 shall apply to the recognition and enforcement of judgments given in the United Kingdom in legal proceedings instituted before the end of the transition period of 31 December 2020.
